Perma-Brass was founded in 1992 by the current owners. Initially, Perma-Brass supplied customers in the plumbing industry with high-quality, machined and plated castings.

As the company grew, Perma-Brass applied many of the processes developed through the manufacture of castings to a broader marketplace and began serving diverse industries. In 2000, Perma-Brass increased its capacity and expertise by acquiring Taurus Tool & Machine, an independent production machine shop.

In 2007, Perma-Brass and Taurus Tool & Machine obtained the ISO9001:2000 and AS9100:2004 REV B certifications for providing machined components to multiple industries, including Defense and Aerospace. We have updated our certifications annually and are now ISO9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 REV D (Aerospace) certified.
